Okay, so today I’m gonna tell you about how I got all the stuff I needed for my Yinlin in Wuthering Waves. You know, ascension materials and all that jazz. Let me tell you, it wasn’t a walk in the park, but I did it, and I’m here to spill the beans.
Getting Started
First off, I needed to figure out exactly what I was after. I went on a little hunt, found some information that I needed. This was my shopping list, you could say:
- Shell Credits – 2,200,000
- Intimacy – 200
- LF Whisperin Core – 46
- MF Whisperin Core – 129
- HF Whisperin Core – 129
- FF Whisperin Core – 61
- Metalloid Mushroom – 60
- Thundering Tacet Core – 46
Collecting Whisperin Cores
I started with the Whisperin Cores. These little buggers are dropped by Tacet Discords, the regular enemies in the game. So, I put on my virtual boots and started kicking some Tacet Discord butt. I ran around in the Tiger’s Maw Mine area, clearing out these guys like there was no tomorrow.
It was a bit of a grind, I’m not gonna lie. The drop rates for the higher-tier cores (HF and FF) are a bit stingy. I spent a good chunk of time just farming these things. My fingers were getting tired, but I was determined. Kept at it, day in and day out, and finally got a decent amount of those shiny cores.
Hunting for Metalloid Mushroom
Next up, Metalloid Mushrooms. Now, these are found in a specific place – the Desorock Highland. I found most of them near the Wuming Bay area. They’re pretty easy to spot once you’re in the right area, kinda glowy and all that.
I’d just teleport over there, do a quick sweep, and grab as many as I could. You can buy 15 from a merchant named Koko at Shifang Pharmacy, which was quite a good deal. These were way easier to get than the Whisperin Cores, thank goodness.
The Big One: Thundering Tacet Core
This was the real challenge – the Thundering Tacet Core. These only drop from the big boss, the Lampylumen Myriad. I found the entrance in the Tiger’s Maw area, and let me tell you, this guy is no pushover.
I went in there guns blazing, ready for a fight. First few tries, I got my butt handed to me. He’s tough, hits hard, and has these annoying attacks that you gotta dodge just right. But, you know, I’m not one to give up. I studied his patterns, learned when to dodge, when to attack, and slowly but surely, I started getting the hang of it. It was tough, really tough. I tried different strategies, characters, changed my gear around and I found that using the main character to fight is the best choice, at least for me. Finally, I defeated this guy once and then I can get the material.
It took me a whole bunch of tries, but I finally managed to beat him consistently. Each victory only gave me a few cores, so I had to beat him a lot of times to get the 46 I needed. But hey, I did it! Victory was sweet, especially after all that hard work.
Wrapping Up
So there you have it, my journey to collect all the ascension materials for Yinlin. It was a grind, a challenge, and a test of patience, but I came out on top. I got all the stuff I needed, and my Yinlin is now stronger than ever. If you’re trying to do the same, just remember – be persistent, learn from your mistakes, and don’t be afraid to put in the time. It’s all worth it in the end. Keep fighting and good luck!
