Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about XFL fantasy football lately, and I decided to jump in and see what all the fuss was about. I’ve played fantasy football for years, mostly NFL, but this was a whole new ballgame, literally.

First, I signed up on a * are a few different places, so I picked one.
Next up, I needed to actually, you know, learn something about the XFL.I scrolled through the team rosters, trying to get a feel for who the key players were. I also checked out some XFL news and analysis. It’s not as widely covered as the NFL, so I had to dig a little deeper to find good info.
Then came the draft! This was probably the trickiest part. In my league, we did a live online draft. Since there’s not a ton of historical data like there is with the NFL, I relied on pre-draft rankings from a few fantasy websites, I tried to find a few sleepers, guys that I thought might outperform their projections. It’s all a bit of a gamble at this point.
After the draft, it was all about setting my lineup each week. This involved looking at matchups. I also kept an eye on the injury reports. Just like the NFL, injuries can really mess with your fantasy team, so staying informed is super important.
Once the games started, it was time to watch and see how my team *’s fun to get into a new league, and watching the games with the added excitement of fantasy makes it even better. I found some website to track my fantasy scores in real-time.

Finally, throughout the season, I made some trades and added/dropped players from the waiver wire. It is a new league and some teams or players are doing well and others are not.
It’s been a cool experience so far. XFL fantasy football definitely has a different vibe than NFL fantasy, it’s a bit more unpredictable, which can be both frustrating and exciting. Give it a try!
