Man, 2024 has been a wild year for wrestling, especially with all these WWE PPVs. I’ve been trying to keep up with all the action, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I mean, it’s so many matches and shows I can’t even follow through. I’m a fan of wrestling, and I was like “I have to do something about it”.
So, I started by making a list. Yeah, a simple list of all the events I could find out about. I started to search a lot of stuff, I went through all the websites and social media I could think of, trying to piece together the schedule. And there’s a bunch of information that I found, but a lot of times they are not helpful. There is a lot of events, and it seemed like there were a ton, with names like “Bad Blood”, “Survivor Series: WarGames,” and others being thrown around. The good part of it is that I was able to watch some of the matches, it was pretty fun, the “Bad Blood” one was incredible, even though I couldn’t watch it in real time, I watched the replay. It really felt like the good old days.
Then there were these WarGames matches. I got super hyped reading about them. The men’s one had some big names: Roman Reigns, the Usos, CM Punk, and a bunch of others. It sounded epic! And they announced a women’s one too, with Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Nia Jax. I was marking out just thinking about it.
Once I had a rough idea of the events, I started organizing them. I made notes on which matches I was most excited for and jotted down any rumors or predictions I came across. It was like putting together a puzzle, but a really fun one. A lot of times I couldn’t find the full schedule for the matches, but just knowing who is in it made me happy enough.
But it wasn’t just about keeping track. I wanted to share this with other fans. So, I started posting my findings online, on my blog. I kept it simple, just dates, names, and any cool details I found. Like I mentioned before, I’m a huge fan of CM Punk, seeing his name appear again made me feel like a child again. And that’s not even mentioning The Rock being mentioned in some places, it’s insane!

Here’s a bit of what I gathered, just to give you an idea:
- Bad Blood (10/5/24): CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match. I heard this one was a classic. I watched it and I can say that the rumors were right, it was indeed a classic.
- Survivor Series: WarGames 2024:
- Men’s WarGames Match: Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk vs. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed. What a lineup!
- Women’s WarGames Match: Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, and others. This one’s gonna be huge.
I gotta say that 2024 so far is amazing for wrestling. Even though I’m just a regular guy who loves wrestling, organizing all this stuff made me feel more connected to it all. It’s like I’m not just watching; I’m part of the hype, part of the community. And sharing it with others? That’s the best part. It’s like we’re all in this together, geeking out over these awesome events. It’s great to see that the sport is still alive and kicking, and I’m here for it.
