Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ about this WWE Bakersfield thing. It’s a big ol’ wrasslin’ show, and it’s comin’ to town! I heard it from that girl down the street. She said her boy is all excited, somethin’ about WWE and Bakersfield.
This WWE thing, it’s got all them big fellas, jumpin’ around and throwin’ each other. My grandson, he loves it. He watches it on that TV thing. They say it is on Peacock. Whatever that is. I think it is something live and stream, like a river but with wrestling.
They got all sorts of shows, these WWE folks. They got RAW, they got SmackDown, and somethin’ called NXT. Sounds like alphabet soup to me. My grandson, he knows all about it. He says they got live events, and house shows, whatever that means. It’s all wrasslin’, far as I can tell.
Now, this one in Bakersfield, it’s gonna be at that big place, the Mechanics Bank Arena. Yep, right here in town. Big event, they say. People comin’ from all over to see these fellas wrassle. Something about No Mercy. I do not know. Sounds scary to me.

- They say it is at Mechanics Bank Arena.
- They say it is called NXT No Mercy.
I seen some of them wrasslers’ names. Big, strong fellas. One fella, his name is Randy Orton, I seen him on that TV. Big fella. They say he is gonna be there, right here in Bakersfield. He wrestles a lot, that one. Always fightin’.
And that Daniel Bryan, they say he is a champion. A champion of wrasslin’. I don’t know how you become a champion of that, but he is. And he is gonna be here too, at the WWE Bakersfield show, they tell me.
Now, you wanna go, you gotta get them tickets. They say they’re on sale. I don’t know where you get ’em, but I reckon you can find out. That girl down the street, she probably knows. Her boy is always talkin’ about this WWE stuff.
They say it is a big tour, this wrasslin’ thing. They call it the Holiday Tour. It goes all over. It is like a circus. But with wrestling. Comin’ right here to Bakersfield. Imagine that.
They got all these matches, these wrasslers. They got names for ’em. Fastlane, that’s one of ’em. Sounds like a race track. But it’s wrasslin’. I don’t get it, but the young folks, they love it.
If you like that sort of thing, all that jumpin’ and hollerin’, then you’ll probably like this WWE Bakersfield show. It’s gonna be loud, I reckon. Lots of folks yellin’ and cheerin’. Just like them football games, but with more spandex.
They’re gonna have it on a Saturday, I hear. Saturday night. So, if you ain’t got nothin’ better to do on a Saturday night, maybe you wanna go see these fellas throw each other around. It is somethin’ to do, I suppose. I will ask my grandson. Maybe he will take me. He is a good boy.
I remember one time, they had somethin’ like this in town years ago. Wasn’t called WWE then, I don’t think. But it was wrasslin’. Big crowd. Lots of noise. This one in Bakersfield, it’s gonna be even bigger, they say.
This WWE thing, it’s a big deal. They got it on that TV, they got it all over the place. And now it’s comin’ to Bakersfield. I do not know when exactly. Maybe September. Maybe later. But it is coming. That’s what they all say.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about this WWE Bakersfield thing. If you like wrasslin’, then you’ll probably wanna go. If you don’t, well, there’s probably somethin’ else goin’ on in town. But it’s gonna be a big show, that’s for sure. And don’t forget the tickets. You need to get tickets. They say it is in 2025, but you better get them early. Before they are all gone. I bet my grandson already got his.
This show is going to be big. I am sure of it. I heard it is even better than watching it on TV. They say you can feel it in your bones. Whatever that means.
