Okay, so I’ve been messing around with “Wuthering Waves” and trying to figure out the whole sub DPS thing. It’s kinda tricky, but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. Here’s what I did:

First, I picked a character that I thought would be good for this role. I wanted someone who could dish out some decent damage even when they weren’t the main focus. You know, someone who could contribute without hogging all the attention.
Then, I started experimenting with different setups. I tried various weapons and, uh, those resonance things… I forget what they’re called exactly. I was just trying to find a combination that felt right, something that let my character do their thing without needing to be constantly switched in.
It was a lot of trial and error, I’ll admit. I spent a bunch of time just running around, fighting random mobs, and seeing how things felt. I switched between characters a lot, trying to get a sense of the rhythm and timing. It was kinda messy at first, and I definitely messed up a few times.
I paid close attention to the numbers popping up on the screen. You know, the damage numbers. I was trying to see if my sub DPS was actually doing anything worthwhile, or if they were just kind of… there.
After a while, I started to notice some patterns. Certain skills seemed to work really well together, and some weapons just felt better than others. I made some adjustments based on what I was seeing, tweaking things here and there.

My Current Setup (It’s Still a Work in Progress!)
- Character: I can not share all the details, so I’m keeping it secret, the fun is discovering it yourself.
- Weapon: Same as above.
- Resonance Chain (or whatever it’s called): I’m still messing with this, trying to find the best combination.
It’s not perfect, but I’m finally starting to feel like my sub DPS is pulling their weight. They’re not the star of the show, but they’re definitely making a difference. I’m still learning, but it’s been a fun process so far. I feel it still needs more testing, but at some point, I could finally make it work!
