Okay, so I gotta tell you guys about this crazy thing that happened with Wuthering Waves today. I was so hyped to finally jump in, downloaded everything, and then bam! Stuck at 99.99%. Like seriously?! So frustrating.
First thing I did, because that’s what everyone does, was restart the game. Nope. Still stuck. Then I thought, maybe it’s my internet being wonky. Reset my router, checked my connection – all good. Still 99.99%. Ugh.
Next, I went full troubleshooting mode. I remembered reading somewhere that sometimes game files can get corrupted during download. So, I went into the game launcher and looked for a “verify files” option. Found it, clicked it, and let it do its thing. Took a while, but I was hopeful.
And guess what? It actually found some corrupted files! It re-downloaded them, and I was like, “Yes! This is it!” Restarted the game…and…STILL stuck at 99.99%. I was starting to lose it.
Alright, time to get serious. I headed to the official Wuthering Waves forums to see if anyone else was having the same issue. Turns out, a lot of people were! And some folks had posted potential solutions. One suggestion was to clear the game’s cache. So I dug into my phone’s settings, found the game, cleared the cache, and tried again.
Nope. Nada. 99.99% mocking me.
Another forum post suggested that maybe my phone didn’t have enough storage space. I thought that was unlikely, but I checked anyway. I had plenty of space, so that wasn’t the problem.
Then, I saw a comment that mentioned something about 加速器s. I wasn’t using a 加速器, but it made me think about background apps interfering. I closed EVERYTHING. Every single app running in the background. And then…drumroll please… IT WORKED!
I have no idea which app was causing the problem, but closing them all finally got me past that blasted 99.99% screen. So, if you’re stuck there too, try closing all your background apps. It might just do the trick!
