Okay, so, like everyone else, I’ve been seeing Rudy Gobert’s name pop up a lot lately, especially with all that baby news. I got curious about his girlfriend, Julia Bonilla. So I decided to do a little digging to see what I could find out about her.
First, I opened my browser. I typed in “Rudy Gobert girlfriend” into the search bar, and hit enter. A bunch of articles came up. I clicked on a few that looked reliable.
I learned that Julia and Rudy recently announced they’re expecting a baby! They even shared the news on Instagram during the All-Star weekend. How cute is that? And in May, their baby boy, Roméo, was born! I bet they’re over the moon.
Then, I dove a bit deeper into Julia’s background. Turns out, she’s not just a pretty face – she’s a pretty accomplished lady. She’s an artistic director, blogger, and podcaster. She’s French, just like Rudy, and from Paris. Fancy, right?
- She writes a blog called Julia BNL. I checked it out briefly – it’s mostly in French, so I didn’t understand much, but it looks cool.
- She also hosts a podcast called Journey. Again, it seems interesting, although I didn’t listen to any episodes. I might need to brush up on my French first.
I also found out that she and Rudy made their relationship public earlier this year, and I think that the pregnancy announcement was one of the first times they really put themselves out there as a couple.
And according to a recent ESPN report, Rudy is sticking with the Minnesota Timberwolves, signing a new three-year, $110 million contract extension. Looks like he’s found his home on and off the court!
So, yeah, that’s what I found out about Rudy Gobert’s girlfriend, Julia Bonilla. They seem like a great couple, and I’m happy for them and their new little family!
It was a fun little investigation. I always like learning about the people behind the athletes.
