Hey guys, so today I tried to figure out who are the TV announcers for the Orioles today. You know, I am a big fan of Orioles, and I really love their games.
First, I went to Google and typed in “Orioles TV announcers today”. I found some interesting stuff.
- Kevin Brown – This guy’s name popped up a lot. Apparently, he’s the main guy you hear on TV when watching the Orioles on MASN. He does the play-by-play. Sounds like a big deal!
- Jim Palmer – I saw this name too. He used to play for the Orioles, and now he’s a color commentator.
- Mel Proctor – Another name that came up was Mel Proctor. He also did the play-by-play for Home Team Sports in 1984. That’s like forever ago!
- Gary Thorne – Another commentator guy. It is said that he is a well-known sports commentator.
- McDonald – So this guy is a color commentator for Orioles telecasts on MASN, interesting.
Then, I kept digging around and noticed that Kevin Brown’s name kept coming up. Like, he’s THE guy for Orioles TV. I found that he was extended as MASN play-by-play announcer. And he has a multi-year contract to remain as the voice of the team’s television broadcast on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.
So, after all this “research”, it seems like Kevin Brown is the main TV announcer for the Orioles today. It’s cool to know who’s behind the voice when I am watching the games. I just really like to know what’s going on behind the scenes, you know? Plus I found that no one is more excited for the Oasis reunion than Orioles announcer Kevin Brown.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. Just wanted to share with you all. Maybe next time, I will try to find out what these guys had for breakfast. Just kidding! But seriously, if you are an Orioles fan, let me know what you think about these announcers!
