Okay, so today I messed around with something called the “Portable Power Saw” in Genshin Impact. It’s a four-star claymore, which, honestly, sounds way cooler than it is. I’ve been trying to get my hands on some new gear, and this thing popped up on the Epitome Invocation Weapons Banner.
I started by checking out what this weapon is all about. It’s a 4-star, which means it’s not top-tier, but it’s still pretty decent. I found out it was available until October 17th, so I was like, “Alright, let’s see what this thing can do.” I spent some time digging through the game menus to find out how to get it and what it’s made of. It’s pretty straightforward; you just gotta use those Wishes on the banner and hope you get lucky.
I did a few pulls, and bam, got the Portable Power Saw. Then I went to the character screen to equip it. I had to gather some materials to ascend it, which is basically like upgrading it. I grabbed some of the usual stuff—some ores and a bunch of those common enemy drops. It took a bit of grinding, running around fighting hilichurls and slimes. Nothing too crazy, just the usual daily grind.
My Equipping Process
After I got it to a decent level, I started playing around with its special effect. It says something about gaining Elemental Mastery for each Symbol consumed. I tested it out in a few domains and against some bosses. It’s supposed to give you 40 Elemental Mastery for each Symbol, and the effect triggers two seconds after. I tried to keep an eye on my stats while using it, and yeah, I could see a slight bump in my elemental damage.
- First, I equipped it to one of my characters, who uses a claymore, making sure it was a good fit for their build.
- Second, I went out and fought a bunch of enemies, to see how it felt in combat.
- Third, I paid attention to how much damage I was doing and if the Elemental Mastery boost was noticeable.
Honestly, it’s not a game-changer, but it’s a fun weapon to use. It looks pretty cool, and the extra Elemental Mastery is nice. It is not going to make you overpowered or anything, but it’s a solid choice if you need a new claymore. I spent a good few hours trying out different combos and seeing how it performs in different situations. The damage output is okay, and the effect is kind of neat, especially if you like big, flashy numbers.
Overall, getting and using the Portable Power Saw was a decent way to spend my time in the game. It is not going to revolutionize my gameplay. I’m gonna keep using it for a while, at least until something better comes along. If you’re looking for a new weapon and happen to pull this one, give it a shot. It is not bad, and it’s always fun to try out new things in Genshin Impact.
