Okay, so today I wanted to check out Jiri Lehecka playing live. I’m not a huge tennis fan or anything, but I’ve heard good things about this guy, and figured why not give it a shot?
First thing I did was to dig around for where I could actually watch him. Seemed like DAZN was a decent option, they had some on-demand stuff for Jiri. I also saw something about Fubo, which apparently lets you do a free trial. Nice!
I needed some basic details though. Things like who was he playing, when was the match, and on what channel. I found a few matches – one was a semifinal in Belgrade against someone called Shapovalov. There was also a quarterfinal against Tsitsipas in the European Open, both on a Friday. Oh, and another match in Belgrade against Lukas Klein, which was supposed to be on a Thursday at 11:00 am, on CENTRE COURT, whatever that means.
So, I had a few choices, but the Belgrade Open semifinal caught my eye. A semifinal sounded pretty important, right? It turned out that it was going to be on a Saturday. Great! Weekends are perfect for watching sports.
I eventually figured out I could watch it on DAZN. They had a bunch of live sports, so I guess they must be legit. I signed up on their platform, it was pretty straightforward.
Game Time
Saturday rolls around, and I’m all set. Got my snacks, got my drink, got the stream going. The match was intense! Lots of back and forth. I still don’t know all the rules, but it was exciting to watch.
I wouldn’t say I’m suddenly a die-hard tennis fanatic, but I enjoyed it way more than I expected. Watching Jiri Lehecka live was definitely a cool experience. Maybe I’ll tune in for another match sometime. We’ll see.
