Okay, so I needed to track down the Placer football schedule for this season. It always feels like a bit of a hunt, doesn’t it?
My Process Finding the Schedule
First thing I did, naturally, was just try the school’s main website. Figured that’d be the most direct spot. Navigated through their athletics section, clicked around a bit. Sometimes these school sites bury the info, you know? Spent a good few minutes poking through menus. Found the football team page, but the schedule listed was from last year, or it just wasn’t updated yet. That happens a lot, honestly.
Alright, plan B. I popped open a search engine. Typed in something simple like “Placer High School football schedule”. Got a bunch of results, mostly sports aggregate sites. Some of these are okay, some are cluttered with ads or just plain wrong.
I clicked on one that looked promising, one of those sites dedicated to high school sports, MaxPreps or something similar usually has it. Found Placer High listed there. Bingo. They usually keep these things pretty current.
Checking the Details
Found the football section under Placer High. And there it was, a list of games. Looked pretty official. Had dates, opponents, locations (home/away), and times. I usually double-check the first couple of games against maybe a local news site if I can, just to be sure the info isn’t stale, but this looked right.

The Schedule I Found (Key Games Anyway)
So, after digging around, here’s the gist of what I noted down. Don’t have the whole thing memorized, but the key matchups I was looking for:
- Looked like the season opener was against Casa Roble. Always a tough start.
- Saw Vista del Lago on there, that’s usually a big rivalry game.
- Noticed Lincoln was on the schedule too, another important league game.
- The usual mix of home and away games throughout September and October mostly.
So yeah, that was my little quest. Didn’t take too long this time, but you definitely gotta know where to look sometimes. Started at the source, had to branch out a bit, but got the info in the end. Just wanted to have those dates handy. Now I can actually plan to catch a few games.
