Okay, so the other day I was having this debate with a buddy about baseball stadium sizes. We were going back and forth, and then the Yankees came up. I thought I knew how many people fit in Yankee Stadium, but I wanted to be absolutely sure, you know? So, I started my little research project.

First, I just did a quick search. Nothing fancy, just typed in “Yankee Stadium capacity” and boom, there it was. A bunch of sites popped up with the answer, plain as day.
Checking Multiple Sources
But, I’m kind of a stickler for details, so I didn’t just take the first number I saw. I checked a few different websites, just to make sure they all agreed. You never know, sometimes these things can be outdated or just plain wrong.
Confirming the Number
Turns out, they were all pretty consistent. Most places listed the seating capacity of Yankee Stadium as around 46,537. That includes all the regular seats, the fancy suites, everything.
