So, I started looking into Charley Hull recently. Heard her name pop up a few times, saw some highlights, and got curious about what her deal was on the LPGA tour.

First thing I did was just a basic search, you know, trying to get the background. Found out pretty quick she turned pro really young. Like, still a teenager young. That always catches my eye – takes some guts, I reckon.
Digging into her game
Then I started watching some clips of her actually playing. Her swing, well, it’s fast. No messing about. She just gets up there and gives it a proper whack. Seems like she’s got a naturally aggressive style, always trying to push forward. Doesn’t seem like she holds back much.
I looked up her results too. You see a lot of good finishes, plenty of times near the top. Maybe not always closing the deal for the win as often as some, but she’s consistently there. Seems like she puts herself in contention quite a bit, which tells you the talent is definitely there.
Found some interviews as well. She comes across as pretty straightforward, says what she thinks. A bit different from the usual polished media answers you sometimes get. Kind of refreshing, actually. Just seems like a normal person who happens to be really good at golf.
My takeaway
Spending that time looking into her, you get the picture of someone who just loves playing golf their own way. It’s not overly technical or robotic, feels more like natural talent and instinct taking over. She hits it hard, goes for pins, and you can see the enjoyment, or sometimes the frustration, pretty clearly.

So yeah, that was my little project, getting familiar with Charley Hull. An interesting player for sure. Adds a bit of spark to the tour with her style and personality. Definitely someone I’ll pay more attention to when I see her name on the leaderboard now.
