Alright, so I wanted to catch the Vienna Open, that tennis tournament. I knew it started on a Monday, October 21st, and went on all week till Sunday. That’s what I found online.

Now, the question was, how do I watch this thing? I’m in the US, so I figured my best bet was the Tennis Channel. That’s what some website said, anyway. They also mentioned something called Fubo as a live stream option.
Tried a few things to watch it
- First, I checked out the Tennis Channel. I don’t have cable, so that was a no-go.
- Then I looked into that Fubo thing. Seemed like a streaming service, but I wasn’t too keen on signing up for something new just for one tournament.
- I even saw some talk about Amazon Prime Video having it for folks in the UK and Ireland, but that didn’t help me much here.
There was also this “official” ATP streaming thing. It sounded cool with live matches and replays for a week, plus interviews and stuff. But, again, I wasn’t looking to get too involved with another subscription. I just wanted to see some tennis.
Hulu and the one match
One site said I could watch a specific match, Alexander Zverev vs. Marcos Giron, on Hulu. I actually have Hulu, so I thought, “Why not?” I found the match, and it was live. I watched it, it was a good game. The website was right about that. They also mentioned I could watch it on fuboTV and Tennis Channel, too. But as I don’t have them, I could not watch it.
So, that’s how I ended up watching at least one match of the Vienna Open. Not exactly how I planned it, but I got to see some tennis. I might look into those other streaming options for the next tournament, though. Just need to figure out which one is the easiest and won’t make me sign up for a bunch of stuff I don’t need. You know how it is. We will see!
