Yesterday, I saw someone online asking for help. They said they needed help finding a dancer who auditioned for Candy Apples in episode 17 of season 3 of “Dance Moms.” The guy only remembered the dancer’s first name, Charles, and really wanted to find his last name.

They captioned it something like, “This one is more complete.”

But, here’s the kicker, the real Charles Oliveira, the MMA guy, he actually denied being on “Dance Moms.” He said it wasn’t him. I guess that settles it. They just look alike.
Charles Oliveira is Not Charles from Dance Moms!
I even found some old articles from, like, October 17th, talking about Charles Oliveira, the MMA fighter. They called him a “phenom” and talked about his “unyielding spirit.” This guy is a big deal in the fighting world.
But guess what I also found out about the MMA fighter Charles Oliveira? He actually studied dance! He went to the Royal Academy of Dance in Brazil and London. What a plot twist! So even though he’s not the Charles from “Dance Moms,” he’s still got some moves.
Anyway, this whole thing was a wild goose chase. But it was fun! I learned a lot about “Dance Moms,” MMA, and how easy it is for rumors to start online. It also made me appreciate how unique and talented both Charles, the dancer, and Charles Oliveira are, in their own ways. That was the whole day I spent yesterday.
