Yesterday, I saw someone online asking for help. They said they needed help finding a dancer who auditioned for Candy Apples in episode 17 of season 3 of “Dance Moms.” The guy only remembered the dancer’s first name, Charles, and really wanted to find his last name.
So, I got curious and started digging. I watched that episode, and you know what? The coaches, Cathy and Anthony, they were super nice to Charles. It got me wondering, who is this Charles guy?
I went down a rabbit hole, searching all over the internet. There are so many posts and forums talking about “Dance Moms.” It’s crazy! This show has so many wild moments and so many talented dancers.
Then, things got even weirder. I started seeing posts mixing up this dancer Charles with a famous MMA fighter, Charles Oliveira. People were actually wondering if they were the same person! Can you believe it? There was even a Twitter account, I think it was called Cavaleiroincelo, that posted a clip from “Dance Moms” with a guy who kind of looked like the fighter. They captioned it something like, “This one is more complete.”
- Started searching: I spent hours online, reading forums and watching videos.
- Watched the episode: I focused on episode 17, season 3, where Charles auditioned.
- Found the confusion: I discovered people were mixing up Charles the dancer with Charles Oliveira the MMA fighter.
- Investigated further: I looked into why people thought they were the same person and found some interesting social media posts.
But, here’s the kicker, the real Charles Oliveira, the MMA guy, he actually denied being on “Dance Moms.” He said it wasn’t him. I guess that settles it. They just look alike.
Charles Oliveira is Not Charles from Dance Moms!
I even found some old articles from, like, October 17th, talking about Charles Oliveira, the MMA fighter. They called him a “phenom” and talked about his “unyielding spirit.” This guy is a big deal in the fighting world.
But guess what I also found out about the MMA fighter Charles Oliveira? He actually studied dance! He went to the Royal Academy of Dance in Brazil and London. What a plot twist! So even though he’s not the Charles from “Dance Moms,” he’s still got some moves.
Anyway, this whole thing was a wild goose chase. But it was fun! I learned a lot about “Dance Moms,” MMA, and how easy it is for rumors to start online. It also made me appreciate how unique and talented both Charles, the dancer, and Charles Oliveira are, in their own ways. That was the whole day I spent yesterday.
