Alright, so I’ve been grinding away at this “Retrofit Escapade” thing in the game, trying to get that god roll. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey.
First off, I started by just playing the game normally, you know, doing the usual activities, hoping that this weapon would drop. I did a bunch of strikes, some nightfalls, and even dabbled in the raid a bit. No luck. Nada. Zilch. It was like the game knew what I wanted and was purposely keeping it from me.
Then, I decided to get a bit more strategic. I looked up some guides online, and they all said the same thing: focus on the seasonal activities. So, that’s what I did. I grinded those seasonal activities like there was no tomorrow. I mean, I was dreaming about them at night. Still, that darn “Retrofit Escapade” wouldn’t drop with the perks I wanted.
- I was starting to lose hope.
- I started to think like, “Is this even worth it?”
- I wondered if I even need this weapon.
But then, I had an idea. I remembered that some activities have a higher chance of dropping certain weapons. So, I switched my focus to those. I spent hours, and I mean hours, running those activities over and over again. I lost count of how many times I did them. My fireteam was getting sick of me, and honestly, I was getting sick of myself.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, it happened. The “Retrofit Escapade” dropped. I held my breath as I checked the perks. And there it was. The god roll. Fourth Time’s the Charm and Target Lock. I couldn’t believe it. I actually yelled out loud, scaring my cat in the process. All that time, all that effort, and it finally paid off.
So, yeah, that’s my story of getting the “Retrofit Escapade” god roll. It was a long and painful process, but in the end, it was totally worth it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go dominate some enemies with my new toy.
