Well, now, if you’re lookin’ to find out how much them UFC fighters made in UFC 304, I reckon I can tell ya a thing or two! It’s like any big show, ya know, they ain’t just fightin’ for glory, they’re fightin’ for them purses too. And lemme tell ya, some of them fighters walked away with pockets full!
First off, we got Leon Edwards, bless his heart, he’s one of them big names in UFC. At UFC 304, he made a real good chunk of change, lookin’ at about $250,000 just for showin’ up. But wait, if he won, he’d get even more – about $150,000 extra. So, ya do the math, that’s a mighty big purse for just one fight! But don’t think for a minute that it stops there, no sir. He probably got some bonus too, if he put on a real good show!
Then we got Muhammad, another fella who ain’t doin’ too shabby himself. He was set to make $250,000 as a base salary, same as Leon, but with a win, he was expected to pocket an extra $150,000. Now that’s what I call a good pay day for throwin’ some punches! Ain’t no wonder these fighters keep comin’ back for more – the money’s just too sweet to pass up!
Now, I ain’t done yet. We got Tom Aspinall, a real tough one. He’s a champion, ya see, and that means he gets a special deal. His base salary was $500,000, but that’s not all. He also got a share of them pay-per-view profits, which makes his purse a whole lot bigger! Can you imagine makin’ that kind of money for just showin’ up to the fight? Must be nice!
And don’t forget Curtis Blaydes. He was lookin’ at $350,000, and that’s with a $100,000 bonus thrown in. Ain’t that somethin’? These UFC folks sure do know how to make a living, don’t they? A lotta folks work a lifetime just to see that much money!
Now, the bonuses, I gotta tell ya, they sure add up. Tom Aspinall and Parkin, they both earned $100,000 bonuses for their performances. That’s right, for just doin’ what they do best, they walked away with some hefty pockets! But the real big spender was Paddy Pimblett. This fella, he didn’t just get one bonus, no sir! He snagged a $100,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus, and then, Dana White, the head honcho, came out and said, “You know what? Let’s double that!” So, Paddy walked away with $200,000 for his performance. Ain’t that a nice little extra? Some folks work their whole lives and don’t make that much!
But don’t you go thinkin’ this is the end of it all. I reckon some other fighters took home their fair share too, like them fighters who didn’t get in the main event but still put on a show. They earned bonuses, too. The UFC sure knows how to keep their fighters happy and ready to keep on fightin’!
All in all, UFC 304 was a real big payday for a lot of folks. These fighters ain’t just gettin’ by, they’re walkin’ away with more money than most people see in a lifetime! And it ain’t just the main event folks that earn big – all them fighters, from the top to the bottom, are makin’ bank. But what it really comes down to is, if ya want to make that kind of money, ya gotta be tough, ya gotta be quick, and ya gotta put on a show that’ll have people talkin’ for days!
