Okay, so I saw this “Turkey Race Gifts” thing pop up in Monopoly Go, and I was like, “What’s this all about?” I’m always up for some extra dice or cash in the game, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I opened up the game. Of course. The Turkey Race banner was right there at the top, so I tapped on it. It took me to this leaderboard thing, and I was way down at the bottom, obviously, because I hadn’t even started yet.
Here’s what the basics of playing is:
- The event is a leaderboard which means a competition between you and other players.
- You can accumulate points needed to win.
- You get points by landing on specific tiles.
Then,I started rolling, just playing the game as usual.I noticed that whenever I landed on a Chance, Community Chest, or Railroad tile, I got these extra points, these “Turkey Race” points. I started to aim for those tiles as much as I could.
How to get points
The breakdown of how to get these points looks like this:
- Chance= 2 Points
- Community Chest= 3 Points
- Railroad= 5 Points
It took a while, and I had to keep checking the leaderboard to see how I was doing. I wasn’t climbing super fast, but I was slowly getting there.I did get a few gifts, and I chose the little turkey token.
I kept playing for a few more hours, landing on those special tiles whenever I could. The points really added up when I got a good streak going on the Railroads. I managed to get into the top 20.
Honestly, it’s a grind, but the rewards are pretty cool. If you’re playing Monopoly Go anyway, you might as well go for the Turkey Race gifts. Just be prepared to spend some time rolling those dice!
