Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post sharing my experience, following your guidelines and example:

So, I wanted to figure out this whole “Charlotte Heyward Blackwell” thing. I’d heard the name, maybe in passing, but I really had no clue who she was. Time to get my hands dirty and do some digging.
First, I fired up my trusty search engine. Just typed in the name, plain and simple. I scrolled through the first few results, you know, the usual stuff – Wikipedia, maybe some random articles. I wanted the basics first.
Basic info gathered
After reading a bit, I started to get a general picture. Female name and seems to be someone related to history and some social topics.
I kept an eye on this point, because I was interested in finding how and why she did what she did, and how she became famous, and the results that she brought.
Then, I went back to the search results. This time, I wasn’t just skimming. I looked for websites that seemed a bit more… in-depth. Maybe some historical societies, or even a dedicated blog or two. Anything that looked like it had more than just the surface-level information.

This took a while. Honestly, it’s easy to get lost in all the noise online. But I kept pushing, clicking on different links, reading bits and pieces here and there.
Finally, I felt like I had a decent handle on things. I had pieced together a timeline, more or less, and understood the context of her life and work.
It wasn’t a quick process, and it definitely wasn’t perfect. But I learned a lot, and that’s what matters. I went from knowing almost nothing to having a pretty solid understanding, all thanks to some persistent digging.
