Man, it was a wild ride, but I finally made it. I got signed to the Detroit Lions! Let me tell you how it all went down.
It all started when I got a call to play for the Lions practice squad. This happened a while back, and they released someone named Jamal Adams. Then I got the word, they are waiving some guy named Tom Kennedy, and they are re-signing me, Morice Norris, to the practice squad. It felt great, like recognition for all the hard work I’ve been putting in, you know?
Then, things got even crazier. I got promoted! I was signed to the active roster from the practice squad. Boom, just like that, I’m in the big leagues. I also heard that the Lions re-signed a guy named Knight, and he might be competing for the RB3 spot. Things move fast around here!
I also heard the Lions had signed a bunch of other players like Emmanuel Moseley and Graham Glasgow. Each player they sign, they always announce it and they will talk about the details of the contract and stuff, you can find it on ESPN. I guess they’re trying to build a strong team. They also signed Chris Smith and Abraham Beauplan to the roster, because two other players, Mekhi Wingo and Malcolm Rodriguez won’t be playing this week.
Oh, and get this – they traded with the Cleveland Browns to get this defensive lineman, Za’Darius Smith, and some draft pick for 2026. They’re really making some big moves. All of those transactions you can find it on ESPN. It’s pretty cool to be part of all this action.
- First step: Got signed to the practice squad.
- Next: Waived Tom Kennedy, re-signed Morice Norris.
- Big break: Promoted to the active roster.
- Team moves: Heard about Knight’s re-signing and other big signings like Moseley and Glasgow.
- Latest: The trade for Za’Darius Smith.
It’s been a whirlwind, but I’m so pumped to be a Detroit Lion. I just bring a level of professionalism, veteran presence. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!
