Man, I had a hell of a time getting this done, but I finally got all the Golden Swag items in Tarkov. It was a grind, but so worth it in the end. Let me tell you how I went about it.
First off, I started by making a list of all the items I needed. You know, the good stuff like the Golden Zibbo lighter, the Golden 1GPhone, the Chain with Prokill medallion, the GP coin, and the Golden Rooster. Once I had my checklist, I started hitting up the usual spots.
Scavenging Raids
- Interchange: I spent a ton of time looting the tech stores and the Goshan. The Golden Zibbo and the 1GPhone were my main targets here. I found the Zibbo in the IDEA office a couple of times, and the 1GPhone in the back of some of the electronics stores. It took many raids, dodging other players and Scavs, but I eventually found both.
I also tried:
- Shoreline: This map was all about hitting the resort. The rooms in the East and West wings are known to have good loot. I was hunting for the Prokill medallion and the GP coin. The safe in room 310 of the West wing gave me a GP coin after multiple tries. The Prokill was tougher, but I finally snagged one from a looted safe in the East wing, room 226.
And, of course:
- Customs: Old gas station is a hotspot for the Golden Rooster. I went in there so many times, I practically knew every corner by heart. I’d rush in, grab any loot I could find, and get out before getting ambushed. It was risky, but I eventually found the Rooster just lying on the floor. I couldn’t believe my luck!
Trader Missions and Flea Market
Besides scavenging, I also kept an eye on the flea market and did a bunch of quests for the traders. Sometimes you get lucky, and people sell the items you need for a decent price. I also completed some missions that rewarded me with rare items, which I could then trade for the Golden Swag items.
Persistence Paid Off
It took weeks of grinding, but seeing all those golden items in my stash made it all worth it. The sense of achievement was awesome. Plus, having that bling in my hideout is just a cool flex. It’s a testament to the hours I put in. And showing it off to my friends? That’s just the icing on the cake.
For anyone else trying to get the Golden Swag, my advice is to be patient, be persistent, and don’t give up. It’s a tough challenge, but the payoff is great. Good luck out there!
