So, I saw this thing, “Like some schools”, pop up in the New York Times crossword the other day, March 30th, 2024, to be exact. I started scratching my head, thinking, “What could this be?”

First, I grabbed my phone and fired up the good old search engine. I typed in “Like some schools NYT crossword clue” and hit enter. Boom! A whole bunch of pages came up, all about this crossword clue.
I started clicking through some of them. One said there was only one answer. Another mentioned something about it being from March 31st, which was a bit confusing, but hey, close enough. Then I saw another site that claimed there were like 40 possible answers! Forty? That’s a lot for a crossword clue.
- One site said it’s a four-letter word.
- Another claimed it’s 12 letters.
- Some listed it as appearing on March 30th, others on March 31st.
It’s a real head-scratcher, you know? But I dug a little deeper. The sites all seemed to agree on one thing though, they all had these “CrosswordClue” tags.
I kept reading, trying to make sense of it all. This one site had a friendly tone, talking about crossword puzzles like they’re in the newspaper.
I scrolled down and found some examples of weird crossword stuff, like “Rebuses.”

I started to get it.
I went back to the first hint about four letters.
I decided to give it a shot.
I typed the four-letter word into the crossword.
And…it fit!

I solved it!
Man, that felt good. It’s like a little puzzle victory. You never know what you’ll find in those crosswords.
