Alright, let me tell you how I tracked down that Southern Nameless Mausoleum down in the Weeping Peninsula. Took me a bit of wandering, to be honest.

First off, I was already exploring that whole southern area, the Weeping Peninsula. You know, south of Limgrave, across that big bridge. Lots of rain there, kind of gloomy.
Finding the Starting Point
I remember starting near the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace. From there, I kinda just started heading west, sticking to the main path initially. Eventually, I cut south-west, aiming towards the western edge of the whole peninsula.
My main landmark became the Isolated Merchant’s Shack. Found that guy tucked away, pretty useful spot. If you find him, you’re on the right track. I made sure to grab the Site of Grace there too, just in case.
The Trek West
From that merchant’s shack, I basically continued heading west, maybe a little bit south-west. It gets pretty open around there. Keep an eye out, there are some enemies, nothing too crazy but they can be annoying if you’re not paying attention.
You’ll start seeing the coastline, big cliffs dropping down to the water. That’s where you want to be heading. Just keep pushing towards that western cliff edge.

Spotting the Big Guy
Eventually, I got close enough to the edge and then I heard it. That loud, booming stomp and the bell ringing. Looked around, and there it was – the giant walking mausoleum, patrolling near the cliff. Hard to miss, really. It’s huge!
Taking it Down
Now, getting inside means stopping the thing first. I rode Torrent around its legs, dodging those massive stomps. You gotta look for the white, skull-like deposits stuck to its legs. They look like barnacles made of skulls, kinda.
- I targeted those white skull things.
- Gave them a good whack with my weapon. Had to hit a few of them.
- You gotta be quick, ’cause if it stomps near you, it hurts bad.
- After breaking enough of those skull clusters, the whole thing groans and crashes down.
It took me a couple tries to get the rhythm right and not get flattened. Once it sits down, it stays down, thankfully.
Getting Inside
With the mausoleum finally still, I just walked up to the big doors at the front. They swing open, and you can just walk right in. It’s pretty dark and atmospheric inside, just a single corpse and the main altar thing.
And that’s it! That’s how I got into the Southern Nameless Mausoleum. Just needed to find that merchant, head west to the cliffs, spot the walking giant, and break its leg-skulls. Wasn’t too bad once I figured out where to go.
