Okay, so I got curious earlier about Rickie Fowler’s hat. You know how he always rocks those flat brims, usually something bright. I wanted to see what he was wearing today.

First thing I did was grab my tablet. Pulled up my usual sports news app, scrolled through the golf section. Saw his name, saw some scores, but no clear shot or mention of the hat right away. Typical.
So, my next step was just doing a direct search. Typed in something like “rickie fowler hat today” and hit enter. Lots of pictures came up, sure, but they were from all different days, different tournaments. You get a mix of his classic orange P hat, sometimes white, sometimes special editions.
Digging a Little Deeper
Alright, refined the search a bit. Tried adding the tournament name, looked specifically for photos from today’s round. That helped narrow it down a bit. I started clicking through galleries on a couple of the big golf sites.
Found some decent pictures of him on the course. Had to zoom in on a few to really see the details. Is it the standard P logo? Any other sponsors on the side today? You know, the important stuff.
Then I thought, let’s check social media. Sometimes you get lucky there. Checked Twitter, searched his name, looked for fan photos or official tour posts. Scrolled through Instagram for a bit too, hoping someone snapped a clear close-up from the ropes.

- Checked news sites first.
- Did image searches – too many old pics.
- Looked at specific tournament photos.
- Scanned social media feeds.
Finding the Answer (and a little detour)
It’s funny how these little searches go. You start looking for one specific thing, like a hat. It kind of reminds me of when I was trying to find a specific kind of old screw for a cabinet I was fixing up last year. Spent probably an hour online, clicking through hardware sites, forums about vintage furniture… ended up learning way more about different types of wood finishes than I ever needed to know. All starting from one little screw.
Anyway, back to the hat. After clicking around for maybe 10-15 minutes, mostly scrolling through fan pictures and zooming in, I finally got a clear look. Looks like he went with his pretty standard Puma P hat today, the white one with the black logo, if I saw it right in those shots. Nothing too crazy, but still, good to know. It’s the kind of thing you just wonder about sometimes when you follow a player.
So yeah, that was my little mission. Found the info. It’s always interesting what grabs your attention, right? Just part of following the game, I guess.
