Alright, so I wanted to get a better handle on the Rice Owls football team’s setup for this season. You know, see who’s playing where, who’s backing up who, that sort of thing. So I decided to dig into their depth chart.

First, I went on a hunt for an official depth chart. Usually, the team’s official website is the best place for this, or maybe some reliable sports news sites.
After some searching, I found what I was looking for. It was kind of plain, a simple list, really, but it did the trick.
Breaking it Down
I started by going position by position. Like, first I looked at the quarterbacks:
- Starting QB: Okay, this is the main guy.
- Backup QB: Who’s next in line if the starter gets hurt or needs a break?
- Third-string QB: Maybe a younger player they’re developing.
Then I did the same for the other positions – running backs, wide receivers, the offensive line, all that. I did the same thing for the defensive side of the ball, too – defensive line, linebackers, cornerbacks, safeties. Made sure to note down the names and see if I recognized anyone.
My Notes
I wrote down all the key players and their positions in my notebook. I figured this would be super helpful to refer back to during games. No more wondering, “Wait, who’s that guy?” I’d have my own little cheat sheet.

This is the end of my simple share of the depth chart about rice owls football, I will use my notebook during next games.
