Initially, I was just mashing buttons, hoping for the best. I saw some people online talking about quick pitching, but I couldn’t replicate it. I went into a regular game, tried different timings, pressed every button on the controller – nothing. I felt like a complete noob.

Then, I decided to get a bit more methodical. I paused the game and started exploring the settings. I poked around in the “Gameplay” section, looking for anything related to pitching speed or timing. Finally, I realized I was overthinking it. The key is actually super simple. When you’re on the mound, and you are ready to pitch,you just have to press the pitch button for your selected pitch right away,You don’t have to press any of the buttons before hand. That will initiate a quick pitch.
- Select my pitch.
- Without doing anything else, select the pitch I want.
Putting It into Practice
After figuring this out, I jumped back into a game, and boom – quick pitch after quick pitch. It felt so much faster, and I could really breeze through innings. It’s especially useful when you’re playing against the CPU and just want to get through a game quickly, or when you have a big lead and don’t want to waste time.
