Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this “Quarterback Season 2” thing, okay? I heard folks jabberin’ about it, so I figured I’d spill what I know, the way I know how.
First off, they done made another one. Yep, Netflix, they went and said, “Let’s do it again!” Don’t know why they listen to that Manning fella, Peyton, but they did. He’s one of them big shot producers, whatever that means. He’s the one who said, “We’re makin’ another one in 2024.” So, there ya go. Season two is a-comin’.
Now, when’s it comin’? They ain’t told us the exact day yet, but the first one, that “Quarterback” thing, it came out on a Wednesday. So maybe this new one will too? Who knows! They like to keep us guessin’, them city folk. But they did say it’s gonna be in 2024. So, hold yer horses, it ain’t too far off.

- Coming in 2024, but they ain’t sayin’ when exactly.
Folks seem to like the first one. Said it was a “hit” with them fancy reviewers. Got a high score on somethin’ called “Rotten Tomatoes.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d throw at a bad singer, not a TV show, but hey, what do I know? Anyways, if folks liked the first one, they’ll probably like this new one too. That’s how it usually works, ain’t it?
I heard some talk about this fella, Joe Burrow. He’s one of them quarterback fellas, I reckon. Some old timer, Boomer somethin’ or other, said this Burrow fella is gonna be in the new season. He’s a “big star” they say. I ain’t never heard of him, but I guess he’s good at throwin’ that ball around. They pay these fellas a whole lotta money to do that, can you believe it? More money than I’d see in ten lifetimes!
And then there’s this other fella, Daniel Jones. He plays for the Giants, whatever that is. Sounds like a big fella’s team. They were talkin’ about him too, but I couldn’t quite make out what they were sayin’. Somethin’ about him not playin’ no more, or maybe playin’ somewhere else? It’s all Greek to me, this football talk. But I guess if you’re into that kinda thing, you might wanna know about this Daniel Jones fella.
They’re also callin’ this new season somethin’ else now. Heard tell it’s gonna be called “Receiver”. I guess that means they’re gonna be talkin’ about the fellas who catch the ball, not just the ones who throw it. Makes sense, I guess. Can’t have one without the other, right? Like a horse and buggy, or beans and cornbread. You need both to make it work.
So, here’s the lowdown, plain and simple:
1. They’re makin’ another season of that quarterback show.
2. It’s comin’ out in 2024.
3. Joe Burrow, whoever he is, is gonna be in it.
4. Maybe this Daniel Jones fella too, but who knows.
5. And it’s called “Receiver” now.
