Man, let me tell you about my little adventure trying to find parking at Pinehurst. I heard through the grapevine that parking could cost an arm and a leg, like up to 60 bucks! No way was I going to pay that, especially since it was just the Thursday round.
So, I did some digging beforehand. I found out that they offer free parking and a shuttle service from a couple of big lots. I set my sights on the Red Lot, which is up north on NC-73. Seemed easy enough, right?
I headed out that morning, followed the directions, and drove up to where the Red Lot was supposed to be. It’s a good thing that I checked for some discount codes online earlier. I actually found one that saved me more than 15 percent off. Then I also found some new promo codes for 30 percent off, but those didn’t seem to apply to what I was trying to do.
I arrived at the lot, and it was huge! Plenty of spaces, which was a relief. I parked my car, and almost immediately, a shuttle bus pulled up. I hopped on, and we were whisked away to the course. The ride was smooth and quick, maybe about 10-15 minutes.
Getting back to the lot was just as easy. There were plenty of shuttles lined up after the round, and the whole process was super organized. I was back at my car in no time, with at least 60 bucks still in my wallet.
So, if you are planning on heading to Pinehurst, don’t sweat the parking situation.

- Look for the Red Lot up on NC-73.
- Enjoy the free and easy shuttle service.
