Okay, so, today I decided to look into the New Mexico State versus Louisiana Tech football game. It’s a college game that happened on a Tuesday night. I started by gathering some basic info. I saw that New Mexico State had a not-so-great record of 1-5, while Louisiana Tech was doing a bit better at 3-5.

I then started digging into some articles. One piece mentioned that New Mexico State likes to run the ball a lot, something about their EPA/Rush being around the national average. Another article was talking about a possible upset and some guy named Donerio Davenport.
My analysis process
- Checked the teams’ records.
- Read some articles about the game.
- Noticed New Mexico State’s preference for ground plays.
- Considered the possibility of an upset.
The game was on October 24th, so I also looked up the odds for the game. I found a few different sources talking about the odds, but I didn’t really focus too much on those numbers. After reading up on it, I formed my own prediction, but to be honest, it was more of a guess based on what I had read. I thought maybe there could be an upset, but I wasn’t super sure. Then I watched the game, and let me tell you, it was interesting! I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, so I won’t go into detail, but it was definitely worth watching.
So, that’s my breakdown of the New Mexico State versus Louisiana Tech game. It was a fun little project, and it definitely made watching the game more exciting.
