Alright, let’s talk about grabbing that Void Heron echo in Wuthering Waves today. I decided I really wanted to get a decent one, maybe for one of my characters, maybe just to fill out the collection, you know how it is.

Getting Started and Finding the Thing
So, first off, I had to remember where this annoying bird actually spawns. I pulled up the old echo guide in-game. Yeah, okay, Wuming Bay. It likes hanging around those coastal areas, sometimes near cliffs or those weird broken structures. Classic monster behavior, finds a spot and sticks to it.
I put together my usual echo hunting team. Nothing fancy, just characters I’m comfortable with, good mobility to get around fast, and enough damage to take down elites without too much fuss. Made sure my stamina was full, ’cause you sometimes need to chase these things or dodge like crazy.
Headed out towards Wuming Bay. Teleported to the nearest Resonance Beacon to save some time. Ran around the likely spots for a bit. Sometimes you find it right away, other times it feels like it’s deliberately hiding. Today wasn’t too bad, spotted it circling overhead near one of the higher cliffs after a minute or two of searching.
The Fight Itself
Engaging it is always the fun part. That thing loves its swooping attacks and that weird purple energy beam it shoots. Gotta time your dodges right or you’ll get knocked around. I mostly tried to stay grounded, using ranged attacks when it was flying high, and then closing in when it landed or did one of its ground-pound moves.
My team handled it alright. Swapped characters to keep skills rotating, chipped away at its health bar. It did manage to catch me off guard with a quick dive bomb once, took a chunk of health, but nothing fatal. Just keep moving, that’s the key with these flying types.

Took a few minutes, maybe? Felt like standard elite fight time. Finally got its health down to zero, it did its little disintegration animation, and then… the moment of truth.
Checking the Loot
Yes! The echo dropped. You always get that little sigh of relief when you don’t have to immediately go hunt another one down, especially if you’re low on time.
I immediately went into my menu to check it out. You know the drill, holding your breath hoping for that perfect main stat. What did I get this time? Let’s see… Havoc Damage Bonus. Okay, okay, not bad! Definitely usable on some characters. Could have been better, could have been worse, like DEF or HP when you don’t need it.
The sub-stats weren’t amazing on this first roll, but hey, getting the right main stat is half the battle. I locked it just in case. Might tune it later if I don’t find a better one soon.
So yeah, that was my Void Heron run for today. A successful hunt, got the echo, decent main stat. Just another day grinding away in the world of Wuthering Waves. Onto the next target!
