Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little project today – making a Jay Garrick shirt!
I’ve always been a bit of a Flash fan, and Jay Garrick, the OG Flash, holds a special place in my heart. I’ve seen some cool Jay Garrick shirts online, but I wanted something… more me. So, I decided to make my own.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed a plain t-shirt. I dug through my closet and found a solid red one that was just begging for a makeover. A good, classic color for the Golden Age Flash.
Design Time
Next up, the design. I’m no artist, so I kept it simple – the classic lightning bolt.I did the design.
Making it Happen
- I carefully placed the design on the shirt.
- Then, I applied the color to the design.
- Finally, to get the color set.I put the shirt into the dryer.
The Final Result
And there you have it! My very own, custom-made Jay Garrick shirt. It’s not perfect, the edges are a bit, you know, homemade looking, but that’s part of the charm, right? I wore it out to the grocery store later, and I felt pretty darn cool. It is a little bit special for me.
It took a lot of time to do, and I messed up a couple of shirts in the meantime. But hey! I like it. I can proudly say that I made it.
