Well, I tell ya, if you ain’t been watchin’ them Nuggets play, you’re missin’ a whole lot of excitement! Right at the top of their game!
Now, if you’ve been payin’ attention to the recent games, you’d know that the Nuggets been doin’ mighty fine. Take that game against the Dallas Mavericks on November 10, 2024. Lord, what a game that was! The score was tight, and it was like the Nuggets had to claw their way to keep up. But they did it, didn’t they? I was on the edge of my seat watchin’ that game, especially when Nikola Jokic started workin’ his magic with them post-ups, makin’ it look like he’s been doin’ it for years. Made a couple of those shots, and suddenly the game was tied, sendin’ it into overtime. Ain’t nothin’ like the thrill of overtime to get your heart racin’!
Jokic—now there’s a name you hear a lot these days. He’s somethin’ else, that fella. Doesn’t matter if it’s a regular shot or in crunch time, you can count on him to do somethin’ special. I don’t think anyone can deny it now, he’s one of the best players out there. And I can’t forget Murray, either. I tell ya, when he hit that step-back jumper over Anthony Davis at the buzzer the other night, well, I nearly fell outta my chair. It was just like he had ice in his veins! Some people just know how to perform when the pressure’s on, and Murray’s one of them.
But don’t think for a second the Nuggets always had it easy. Oh no, they’ve had their share of struggles too. A couple years back, back in the 2023-24 season, they had one of their best records ever, but it wasn’t always smooth sailin’. They worked hard for it. Just like in the 2012-13 season, when they had a good run, too. But every season is a new season, and you gotta keep pushin’ no matter what. That’s why they’re so dangerous—they never give up.
What I love about this team is how they keep fightin’. Win or lose, they always give it their all. Like in their match against the Oklahoma City Thunder, not too long ago. They didn’t win that one, but they kept goin’, and that’s what matters. And if you ask me, they’re just gettin’ started. As long as Jokic and Murray are out there, you know they’re always gonna be a tough team to beat.
