Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “mma guns” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I started out totally clueless, just poking around, trying to figure out what the heck it even was.

First Steps – Total Confusion
First, I googled it. Saw a bunch of stuff I didn’t understand, felt a bit overwhelmed. Images with complex names and lots of technical specifications. I’m not gonna lie, I almost gave up right there. But, I decided to watch and read some more information.
Digging Deeper – Finding Some Clues
I started watching and reading more and more, and it helps me to start understanding the things that I need, and the process of making it. Then I start to collect the tools and materials, I have some of them, and the rest I need to buy it, So I went to a shop that sells these things.
Building It – Trial and Error (Lots of Error)
So, the actual building process… yeah, that was rough. The instruction I found are not so clearly, so I have to make some modification and changes, I messed up a few times, like, really messed up. I accidentally broke some parts, and I need to buy it again. But, hey, that’s part of learning, right?
Finally – It Worked (Kind Of)
After a lot of sweating and cursing, I finally got something that resembled the thing I was trying to build. I spent a whole day working on it, It’s not perfect, not even close. There are some janky bits, and it’s definitely not as polished as the ones I saw online. I had to adjust some things and make some compromises because I didn’t have all the right tools or parts. But, it does work… mostly. It does do the main function, and it’s enough for my usage.
Lessons Learned (and Stuff I’d Do Differently)
- Patience is key. Seriously, this stuff takes time.
- Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. You’ll learn more from them than from getting it right the first time.
- Double-check everything. Measure twice, cut once, as they say.
- It’s okay to ask for help. Wish I’d done that sooner!
Overall, it was a fun (and frustrating) experience. Would I do it again? Maybe. But next time, I’m definitely doing more research and maybe taking a class or something first! This DIY stuff is harder than it looks!
