- The Sheer Size of the Map: Some of these Conquest maps are HUGE. We’re talking hundreds of territories. Just navigating the map and making decisions on where to attack next eats up time.
I remember one night, I sat down thinking I’d knock out a good chunk of the map. Ended up spending like three hours playing and only made a dent. Seriously, it felt like I was just spinning my wheels.
Then there are those Stronghold games… ugh. Those are the games against the CPU’s main base, and they’re often on a higher difficulty. Took me several tries on some of them because I kept messing up my pitching, or my hitting was just plain awful.
