Hey there, you young folks! You wanna know about that Mickelson fella, the golf guy, right? What’s in his bag, that kinda thing? They call it WITB, I heard. Well, I hear things, you know. People talk, even ’bout that golf stuff.
That Mickelson, he’s been around a long time. Joined that PGA thing, what was it, 1992? Long time ago. He won somethin’ in, uh, 1993, I think. Some fancy place, Torrey somethin’. He’s got a lot of those shiny clubs, you see ’em on the TV. He hits that little white ball real far. Real far, I tell ya!
So, what’s he got in that big ol’ bag of his? He’s got that big driver, you know, the one they use to whack it way out there. This one fella told me it’s a Callaway somethin’ somethin’ Smoke, I heard. Fancy name for a stick, if you ask me. Sounds like somethin’ you’d cook with. Maybe that’s how he hits it so far! Hehe!

- Then there’s another one, not as big, a wood, they call it. This one’s a PING, I heard. PING G430 MAX.
- He’s got another one called a hybrid. Also a PING, but this one’s called Anser. Sounds like a question, don’t it? Anser.
Then he’s got those irons. Lord knows what they all do. They all look the same to me! But he hits ’em good, that Mickelson. He’s got a bunch of those. The young’uns tell me they’re Callaway X Forged. Forged, like somethin’ a blacksmith would make. He probably could make a horseshoe too, if he wanted. Hehe!
And wedges! He’s got those too. For when he gets near that little hole, you know? Those are Callaway JAWS Raw, I heard. Raw? Like raw taters? Don’t make no sense. But, hey, I ain’t no golf expert, just tellin’ ya what I hear.
And then, that little flat stick he uses to tap the ball in the hole. They call that a putter. This one, they say it’s a L.A.B. Golf DF3. Sounds like somethin’ from a science movie, don’t it? Maybe it’s got some special magic in it. Who knows? He sure makes a lot of those putts. More than he misses, that’s for sure. He made lots of money with Mickelson WITB.
That Mickelson, he’s got a whole bunch of different clubs in that bag. More clubs than I got pots and pans, that’s for sure! He probably uses them all, though. He knows what he’s doin’, that’s for sure. You don’t win all those things he’s won without knowin’ what you’re doin’.
He’s been playin’ a long, long time. Longer than some of you young’uns been alive, I bet! He’s won a lot of those big tournaments, too. They call ’em majors. Like he’s in the army or somethin’. Six of ’em, I heard. Six! That’s a lot of winnin’. He must know what’s in the bag, right?
Now, I don’t know all the ins and outs of this golf stuff. But I know that Mickelson fella is good. Real good. He knows his clubs for sure. And he’s got all the best ones, you can bet your bottom dollar on that. All those fancy names: Callaway, PING, all that. Sounds expensive, don’t it? Probably is. But, hey, if it helps you hit that little ball like he does, maybe it’s worth it. Phil Mickelson is good at golf.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about that Mickelson and his golf clubs. It’s a lot, ain’t it? More than I knew before, that’s for sure. Just remember what that old lady told ya.
