Alright, so I’ve been diving into Zenless Zone Zero lately, you know, getting my bearings in New Eridu. After getting comfortable with the combat and checking out the characters, I started poking around my profile. Wanted to make it look a bit less default, you know? That’s when I spotted the name card section. Looked pretty bare.

My first thought was, okay, where do these things come from? So, I did what I always do: started clicking on everything. Went through the player info screen, checked the settings, fiddled with the menus. Took me a bit, not gonna lie, menus in these games can be a maze sometimes.
Finding the Stash
Eventually, I stumbled into the Achievements section. Man, they packed a lot in there. Scrolling through, I started noticing that some of the rewards for hitting certain milestones were these name cards. Ah-ha! So that’s a major source.
- Checked out the different achievement categories.
- Looked for ones that seemed doable first.
- Spotted rewards specifically labeled as ‘Name Card’.
So, I decided to actually target some achievements. Picked a few easy ones, like clearing a certain number of missions or upgrading gear. Just playing the game normally started ticking these boxes off. After a bit, I managed to claim my first custom name card. Felt kinda neat, actually making the profile my own a little bit.
Other Places I Looked
Then I thought, achievements can’t be the only way, right? Games love to spread things out. I made sure to check the Events tab. You know how these games always have limited-time events running? Sometimes they toss in cosmetic goodies like name cards as rewards for participating or hitting certain point thresholds. Didn’t see one immediately when I first looked, but I made a mental note to keep checking back whenever a new event pops up. That’s usually prime real estate for free cosmetics.
I also just kept playing the main Story missions. Sometimes games give you stuff just for progressing. I haven’t specifically seen a name card pop directly after a story beat yet, it’s usually tied back to completing an achievement related to story progress, like finishing a chapter. So, indirectly, yeah, story helps.

I even poked around the character bond stuff, thinking maybe getting closer with the agents might unlock something profile-related. Haven’t gotten a name card directly from that so far, but hey, you never know what they might add later.
So, What’s the Deal?
Basically, from what I’ve gathered messing around in the game myself:
Achievements seem to be the main, consistent way to get name cards right now. Just play the game, explore different modes, upgrade your stuff, and you’ll naturally unlock some.
Events are the other big potential source. Gotta be vigilant and check those whenever they’re active. Miss an event, you might miss a unique card.
It’s not super complicated, mostly just requires putting time into the game and paying attention to those achievement lists and event rewards. It’s a bit of a grind for some, but hey, gives you something to show off on your profile. That’s my experience getting them, anyway. Just gotta keep playing.
