Alright, let’s dive into my Marvel Snap October adventures! It was a grind, lemme tell ya.

Started with a Mess
So, at the beginning of October, my decks were all over the place. I was trying to make everything work, experimenting like crazy. I knew I needed to buckle down and find something consistent if I wanted to climb.
Research Time!
First thing I did was hit the internet. Watched some streamers, checked out some deck-building sites – you know, the usual. I was looking for something that clicked with my play style, which is kinda aggressive but also likes a little control.
Tried a Patriot Deck

Yeah, I gave the old Patriot deck a shot. Figured it was solid, reliable. Built a version with some tech cards for the meta. Played a bunch of games, and honestly? It just felt… slow. I was getting out-tempoed too often.
Then Came the Zabu Surfer
Okay, this one was more promising! The Zabu into Silver Surfer combo is just nuts. I tweaked it to include some other powerhouses, like Brood. Had some crazy good games with it. But I kept running into bad draws and the deck felt a bit too reliant on specific cards.
Finally Settled on a Sera Control Deck
This is where things started to click. Sera Control just gave me so many options. I could react to what my opponent was doing, and the Sera turn at the end felt so powerful. I built a version with Killmonger, Shang-Chi, Enchantress – all the usual suspects.

The Climb Was Real
- Early Season: Getting the hang of the deck. Lots of ups and downs, learning the matchups.
- Mid-Season: Started to see some real progress. Snapping smartly, retreating when needed.
- Late Season: Grinding hard, trying to push those last few ranks. Got a little stressful, not gonna lie!
Facing the Meta
The meta was tough. Lots of Thanos, some Galactus, even some surprise decks. Sera Control could handle most of it, but you had to know when to fold ’em. Knowing when to retreat saved me a lot of cubes.
Upgraded My Cards
I spent a good chunk of my credits upgrading my key cards. Those fancy borders really do make you feel good, haha. Plus, the extra Collection Level helps.

Hit Infinite!
Yep, finally made it! That last game was a nail-biter. My opponent snapped on turn six, and I knew I had to take the risk. Top-decked Killmonger and shut down their whole board. Felt amazing!
What I Learned
This season taught me a lot about patience and strategy. It’s not just about having a good deck, it’s about knowing how to play it, understanding the meta, and making smart decisions. Plus, knowing when to walk away and not tilt queue is key!
Next Season?

Who knows! The meta will probably shift, and I’ll be back to experimenting. But for now, I’m gonna enjoy my Infinite border and maybe try some meme decks.
