Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Man United 12/13 kit for a while now. It’s a classic, you know? That season was something else, with Robin van Persie banging in goals left and right. Finally decided to just go for it and snag one.

The Hunt Begins
First, I hit up the usual spots. Checked out the official Man United store, but no luck – obviously, they’re not stocking kits from over a decade ago.
Then I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through all sorts of online marketplaces and I also keep an eye on some forums and collector groups. I was looking for detail sharing.
Found One, Finally!
After what felt like forever, I stumbled upon a listing that looked promising. It was a seller, and the pictures looked legit. The price was, well, a bit steep, but I was kind of expecting that.
I messaged the seller, asked a bunch of questions – about the condition, any flaws, that sort of thing. They were pretty responsive and seemed genuine, so I took the plunge and hit “buy.”
Waiting Game
Then came the agonizing wait. I checked the tracking number like a maniac every few hours. It felt like it took ages to arrive, even though it was probably only a week or so.

Unboxing
Finally, the package showed up! I ripped that thing open like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was – the 12/13 Man United kit, in all its glory.
- The shirt was in pretty good condition, considering its age.
- There were a couple of very minor pulls in the fabric, but nothing major.
- Overall, I was super happy with it.
I put that shirt on immediately, of course. It brought back so many memories of watching United that season. Totally worth the hunt and the money!
