Getting the Lowdown on the Lineups
Alright, so today I wanted to figure out who was starting for the Liga de Quito versus São Paulo FC match. You know how it is, you gotta know the lineups before kickoff.

First thing I did was grab my phone. Simple enough, right? Just unlocked it and popped open my web browser. Didn’t feel like messing with specific apps right away, just a quick search.
I typed something straightforward into the search bar, probably like “Liga de Quito vs São Paulo FC starting lineups” or maybe just “LDU Quito Sao Paulo lineups”. Hit enter and waited for the results to roll in.
Naturally, a bunch of stuff popped up. Sports news sites, maybe some fan forums, the usual mix. I scrolled through a bit, looking for something that looked official or at least reliable.
Clicked on one of the first links, maybe it was a major sports network site. Scanned the page. Sometimes they have predicted lineups way before the match, which isn’t what I wanted. I needed the real deal, the official stuff announced close to game time.
So, I backed out and tried another link. This time, I aimed for something that looked more like a live match tracker or maybe the official CONMEBOL site, if it was that kind of competition. These usually get the confirmed lineups faster.

Finding the Confirmed Teams
I found a couple of sites that seemed promising. Often, the official club social media accounts also post the graphics right before the game, but I was sticking to the web search for this round.
One site had a dedicated match page. I had to look around a bit, sometimes it’s under a “Lineups” tab or just listed plain on the main match commentary feed. Found it! It showed the starting eleven for both Liga de Quito and São Paulo FC.
Just to be sure, because sometimes one site gets it slightly wrong or is a minute behind, I quickly checked a second reliable source. Found another live score site, navigated to the match, and bingo – same lineups listed. Good enough for me.
- Checked Liga de Quito’s starters.
- Checked São Paulo FC’s starters.
- Confirmed they matched across two sources.
So yeah, that was pretty much it. Just involved a bit of searching and clicking, making sure I was looking at confirmed lineups, not predictions. Took maybe a few minutes. Now I knew who was actually playing from the start. Simple process, really, just gotta know where to look as it gets close to kickoff.
