Alright, so you wanna know about this fella, Phil Mickelson, huh? And how many times he won that big golf thing, the Masters? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t rocket science, ya know. This Phil guy, he’s pretty good at hittin’ that little white ball.
So, how many times did he win the Masters? Well, they say he won it three times. Yep, three times! That’s a lot, ain’t it? I mean, even I can count that high, and I ain’t had much schoolin’.
- He won it first in 2004. That’s a while back, even for an old lady like me.
- Then he did it again in 2006. Two times! This fella was on a roll.
- And the last time was in 2010. See? Three times! I told ya.
Now, some folks say there’s only a few other fellas who won it that many times. Big names, I guess. Like this Jack Nicklaus fella, they say he won it six times. Six! That’s like, double what Phil did. And then there’s this Tiger fella, he won it five times. These youngsters are somethin’ else, always showin’ off.
They also say Phil won some other big golf things too. They call ‘em “majors”. Sounds fancy, right? Well, he won five of those “majors” altogether. Two of them were somethin’ called the PGA Championship. And one was the Open Championship. Don’t ask me what all that means, I just know they’re important.
This Phil fella, he’s been playin’ golf for a long, long time. I heard he’s playin’ in somethin’ new now, the LIV Golf League. I don’t know much about that, sounds like another one of them fancy things. But he’s still hittin’ that little white ball, even though he’s gettin’ up there in age, just like me.

Is he gonna win it again? Well, who knows? Golf is a funny game. One day you’re hittin’ the ball straight, the next day it’s goin’ every which way but loose. It’s like my chickens, sometimes they lay eggs, sometimes they just peck around. But Phil, he’s a fighter. He might just surprise us all and win another one. I wouldn’t bet against him, even if I had any money to bet with, which I don’t. Anyways, that’s the story on Phil and his Masters wins. It ain’t complicated, just three times. Three times he was the best. Not bad, not bad at all.
They say some other guy, Scottie Scheffler, won it twice. Once in 2022. That’s good, I guess, but it ain’t three times, is it? Phil’s still got him beat, at least for now. Golf is always changin’, new fellas comin’ up all the time tryin’ to be the best. But Phil, he’s been doin’ it a long time, and that’s somethin’ to be proud of.
