Alright, guys, let’s talk about my little project with the Kyrie Infinity Greys. I’ve been wanting to customize a pair of these for a while, and I finally dove in. Here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First things first, I got my hands on a pair of the Kyrie Infinity Greys. Pretty standard stuff, nothing fancy yet. I made sure they were my size, of course – wouldn’t want to go through all this trouble for shoes that don’t fit!
The Prep Work
Next up, I cleaned the shoes. I just used some regular soapy water and a soft brush. I wanted to make sure I got rid of any dust or anything that might mess with the paint. I let them dry completely – patience is key, my friends.
The Fun Part: Customization
- I decided to go with some simple accents. I just love details.
- I carefully use some brushes to add the details I want.
- I did a couple of coats, letting each one dry in between. Gotta make sure it’s all even and smooth, you know?
Sealing the Deal
Once I was happy with how everything looked, I sprayed the shoes with a matte finisher. This helps protect the paint and keep it looking fresh. I did a couple of light coats, again, making sure to let it dry completely.
The Final Result
And that’s it! I’m pretty stoked with how they turned out. It’s not a crazy, over-the-top customization, but it’s something unique, and that’s what I was going for. I wore them to the court the other day, and I definitely felt like I had a little extra swagger.
It’s all about making something your own, even if it’s just a pair of shoes. If you are interested in customizing basketball shoes, you can try to do so.
