Okay, so I heard about this boxer, Joshua Wahab, the other day and wanted to know more about him. Figured I’d share my little dive into who this guy is.
First things first, I googled his name, “Joshua Wahab.” Found a few articles about him being a hard-hitting boxer from Nigeria but based in Accra, Ghana. Apparently, he’s with the Charles Quartey Boxing Gym. Sounds like a big deal.
Then I stumbled upon some more stuff about him. There’s this video where he’s talking before a big fight in Riyadh, on the undercard of Fury vs. Usyk. Huge, right? He’s talking about his growth in boxing and all that. Seems like a pretty humble guy, from what I could gather.
Next, I dug into his record. The guy’s got 23 wins, 2 losses, and no draws. Out of those 23 wins, he’s knocked out 16 opponents. That’s a pretty solid record if you ask me.
I also read that he had a fight against some unbeaten British boxer, Mark Chamberlain. The article made it sound like it wouldn’t be an easy fight for Wahab. The Brit guy is 25 and has a 15-0 record, so yeah, tough competition.
- Googled his name
- Found articles about him
- Watched an interview before a big fight
- Checked out his boxing record
- Read about his fight against Mark Chamberlain
Oh, and I found something about his favorite fight. He mentioned Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto. Said that as a boxer, you always need a plan A when you step into the ring. Makes sense.
So yeah, that’s pretty much what I found out about Joshua Wahab. Seems like a serious boxer with a good record and a big fight under his belt. I will keep an eye out for his future fights. I learned a little about boxing along the way. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, I guess.
My simple conclusion
It was a nice experience. And I found some interesting things about this guy. I think I will do more research like this in the future, it is an interesting way to know more about people. I enjoyed sharing this experience.
