Alright, let’s talk about this Josh Jacobs fella and his fantasy football stuff for 2024. I don’t know much about these fancy computer games, but my grandson, he’s always yappin’ about it. Says it’s a big deal, this “fantasy” thing.
So, is this Josh fella gonna be any good in 2024 or not? That’s what everyone wants to know, right? My grandson, he says last year wasn’t so hot for Josh. Said somethin’ about him bein’ a “disappointment” after a good year before that. You know, like when you expect a good crop of tomatoes and then the bugs get to ’em. A real letdown.
But now, they say Josh is playin’ for some team with “Green” in the name. Green Bay Packers, I think it was. And they say that’s a good thing. Somethin’ about their offense bein’ “upward trending.” Sounds like they’re gettin’ better, like when you add some good manure to the fields.
- Some folks say he’s a “shaky RB2.” Don’t ask me what that means. Sounds like he might be good, might not be. Like plantin’ seeds, sometimes they grow, sometimes they don’t.
- They also say he’s gonna be the “featured back.” That sounds important, like he’ll be carryin’ the ball a lot. That’s good for this “fantasy” thing, right? More carries, more points, or whatever they call ’em.
- And some folks even thinkin’ he could be one of the top 12 running backs. Now that sounds pretty darn good! Top 12, that’s like bein’ the best milk cow in the whole county.
Now, last week, my grandson said Josh got somethin’ called “10.4 fantasy points.” Again, I don’t know what that means. Is that a lot? Is it a little? Sounds kinda small, like a handful of beans. But maybe that’s good. Like I said, this “fantasy” stuff is all Greek to me.
They also said somethin’ about Josh havin’ a game with three touchdowns not too long ago, even twice in three games. Now, that I understand. Touchdowns are like when you get a whole basket full of eggs. That’s gotta be good, right?
So, what’s the bottom line with this Josh Jacobs fella? Well, from what I can gather, it sounds like he could be a good pick for your “fantasy” team. He’s on a better team now, and they say he’s gonna get the ball a lot. And if he keeps gettin’ those touchdowns, well, that sounds like a good thing, even if I don’t understand all this point mumbo jumbo.
But, you know, just like farmin’, nothin’s guaranteed. Sometimes you get a good harvest, sometimes you don’t. You can plant the best seeds, but the weather can still mess things up. So, you just gotta take a chance. That’s what my grandson does every year with this “fantasy” stuff. He picks his players, and he hopes for the best. And that’s about all you can do, whether you’re farmin’ or playin’ these fancy games.
But remember, this is just my opinion based on what I’ve heard. I’m just an old woman, I don’t know much about this “fantasy football.” But I do know a little bit about hard work and takin’ chances. And it sounds like Josh Jacobs is gonna work hard, and maybe, just maybe, he’ll bring home a good harvest for your fantasy team in 2024. It’s a gamble, just like plantin’ crops, but sometimes gamblin’ pays off.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a running back, maybe give this Josh fella a try. He might just surprise you, like a good crop of corn in a dry year. Or he might not. That’s the fun of it, I guess. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go check on my chickens.
