Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another story from my wild life. Today, I’m gonna spill the tea on something a bit more personal – my journey with my ex, Nikki Bella. Yeah, the one from WWE, we were together for a while, and it was quite the ride, let me tell you.
So, it all started back in 2012. We were both deep in the wrestling world, and our paths just kept crossing. Eventually, we started dating, and things got serious pretty quickly. I even popped the question in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. It was a whole spectacle, but hey, that’s how we roll in the wrestling world, right?
- Went public in 2012.
- Got engaged in 2017 at WrestleMania.
Now, the ring, let’s talk about that for a sec. I went all out, classic Tiffany & Co., nothing but the best for my girl. I heard it was somewhere around 115,000 dollars, give or take. It was a big, sparkly rock, and she seemed to love it, so I was happy.
But here’s where things get tricky. Despite the big engagement and all the public appearances, we started having some serious talks behind the scenes. See, Nikki, she’s a family person. She dreamed of having kids, settling down, the whole nine yards. Me? I was more focused on my career, not really ready to be a dad. I love kids, but the timing and my lifestyle, it just didn’t match up with having a family of my own.
We tried to make it work, we really did. We were in love, no doubt about that. But sometimes, love isn’t enough, you know? We had different visions for our future, and those differences became too big to ignore. We had lots of heart-to-hearts, trying to find a middle ground, but it just wasn’t there.
The Breakup
In April 2018, just weeks before our planned wedding, we decided to call it quits. It was tough, man, really tough. Like, imagine planning your whole future with someone and then realizing it’s just not gonna work. It’s heartbreaking. And because our relationship was so public, we had to deal with all that too, which added another layer of difficulty.
Nikki said in some interview that it was hard because we still loved each other. And she’s right. It wasn’t like some big, dramatic falling out. We just wanted different things. We tried to compromise, but at the end of the day, we couldn’t force something that wasn’t there.
After the breakup, we both needed time to heal and figure things out. We’re not like, super close friends or anything now, but there’s no bad blood. We went our separate ways, and she’s doing her thing, hosting that Barmageddon show, and I’m still doing mine.
So, that’s the story of me and Nikki Bella. It’s a bit of a bummer, sure, but it’s real life. Sometimes things don’t work out the way you planned, and that’s okay. You learn, you grow, and you move on. And hey, at least we had some good times and a crazy WrestleMania moment, right?
Alright, that’s it for this story time. Thanks for listening, and I’ll catch you all in the next one.
