Okay, so I was watching “Winning Time” on HBO, and I got super curious about Jerry Buss’s personal life, you know, like who he was married to. So, I started digging.
The First Attempt – A Dead End
First, I just did a simple search. I typed in “Jerry Buss wife”. I figured that’d be enough, right? Nope. I got tons of stuff about the Lakers, his business deals, the Showtime era… basically everything except his actual wife.

JoAnn Mueller – The Main Name
The name that kept coming up was JoAnn Mueller. It seemed like she was his first and, from what I could gather, only official wife.
- They were married young. I mean, really young, Like College time.
- They had a bunch of kids together. the most famous ones, like Jeanie, Johnny, and Jim, who all got involved with the Lakers.
- They Divorced. I find out that they were Divorced in 1972.

My Conclusion (For Now!)
