Okay, so today I was trying to figure out who to start in my fantasy football league – Sam LaPorta or Hunter Henry. Both tight ends, and both seemed like decent options, but I just couldn’t decide. So, I dove into some serious research, well, as serious as fantasy football research gets!

First, I pulled up their stats from the last few games. I looked at targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. You know, the usual stuff. Henry seemed to be getting more targets, but LaPorta had that one huge game a couple weeks back.

Then, I started checking out some expert rankings. You know, those guys who supposedly know what they’re talking about. Some had LaPorta higher, others favored Henry. Super helpful, right? It was basically a coin flip.
- Checked recent game logs.
- Compared targets, receptions, yards, and TDs.
- Consulted expert rankings (which were totally contradictory!).
Next, I considered the matchups. I looked at which defenses were tougher against tight ends. This part actually gave me a little bit of an edge. It seemed like LaPorta’s opponent was giving up more points to tight ends on average.
Finally, I just went with my gut. After all that “research,” I still felt pretty unsure, but I had a slightly better feeling about LaPorta this week, especially with that favorable matchup. So, I slotted him into my lineup and crossed my fingers.
We’ll see how it goes! It’s always a gamble, but hey, that’s part of the fun of fantasy football. Maybe next week I’ll have a clearer choice… or maybe I’ll just flip a coin!
