Today, I was playing that Monopoly Go game again, and I figured I’d give this “Reef Rush” thing a shot. It kicked off at 2 PM on October 21st and wrapped up at 2 PM the next day. I had a whole day to dive in.
So, I started playing, right? And this Reef Rush thing, it’s like a mini-competition within the game. You collect points and hit these milestones. I spent a good chunk of my afternoon on it because, why not? It’s a lazy Sunday after all. I aimed for those milestones like my life depended on it. I kept rolling those dice and moving around the board, just like the old board game, but on my phone.
- I noticed there were different milestones.
- The more I played, the more I realized I was getting hooked.
- It’s kind of a no-brainer, really, just collecting points and trying to outdo other players.
Honestly, it’s a pretty chill way to kill some time. There’s not much strategy involved, it’s mostly luck. But it’s fun in a simple sort of way. The game throws ads at you, of course, trying to get you to spend real money, but I didn’t fall for any of that. I played it free-to-play, just for kicks.
I hit a few milestones, got some in-game rewards, nothing too crazy. It’s not like I was going to become a Monopoly master or anything. I just wanted to see what this Reef Rush was all about.
By the end of the day, I had a good run. Finished a few rounds, collected my points, and called it a day. It’s one of those games you can pick up and put down whenever.
Can you actually finish Monopoly Go? Yeah, you can. Like the old-school board game, there’s a way to win. But getting there takes a bit of luck and some time.
So, yeah, that was my day with the Reef Rush on Monopoly Go. Not a bad way to spend a lazy Sunday. I finished my run, felt okay about it, and moved on. It’s just a game, after all.
