Well, if you’re playin’ Genshin Impact, ya might’ve come across somethin’ called the Iridescent Incription Fragment. Now, don’t go thinkin’ it’s somethin’ too fancy, it’s just a little thing that can help ya get some rewards and achievements. Let me tell ya all about it, plain and simple, so ya don’t get lost in the game like some poor soul without a map.
So, the Iridescent Incription Fragment, it’s like a little token ya gotta collect for certain quests. It ain’t just somethin’ you can find anywhere, though. No sir, ya gotta go lookin’ for it in specific places, and ya might need to do a bit of work to get it. It’s like huntin’ for the best apples in the orchard—sometimes, ya gotta search high and low before you find the good ones.
Now, the first place I’m gonna tell ya about is the Basin of Unnumbered Flames. Sounds all fancy-like, don’t it? But really, it’s just a place south of the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant boss. If you ain’t sure where that is, just use the Teleport Waypoint near the boss and head north a little ways towards a broken shelter. Once you’re there, you’ll find Chuno sittin’ around. He’s the one who’s gonna take the Iridescent Incription Fragments off your hands. And if you hand over 4 of these fragments to him, you’re gonna get yourself a Luxurious Chest as a reward! Pretty sweet, huh? And don’t forget, you’ll also unlock an achievement called ‘Wonders of the World’ just for doin’ it. Ain’t that somethin’?
But hold on, don’t go runnin’ off just yet. If ya wanna get your hands on these fragments, you need to go lookin’ in the right spots. They ain’t just sittin’ around for anyone to grab. Sometimes you gotta work a little for ‘em, like when you’re doin’ a World Quest called ‘Monumental Study’. This quest comes with its own set of challenges, and the fragments will show up while you’re workin’ on it. They’re only visible when ya got a character named Sorush with ya, so make sure you’ve got that sorted. Trust me, it’s a whole process, but it’s worth it in the end.
And here’s a little tip, in case you’re lookin’ for more of these little shiny bits. You’ll find more of ’em in the Girdle of the Sands, way over in Sumeru. Don’t go expectin’ it to be easy, though. You might have to run around a bit to find the spots where these fragments are hidin’. But once you’ve got enough of ‘em, you can bring ‘em back to Chuno and hand ‘em over. He’ll be more than happy to take ’em, and like I said, you’ll get a nice chest and maybe some other goodies.
Now, ya might be wonderin’, “What do I do with these fragments besides handin’ ’em over to Chuno?” Well, truth is, you don’t do much with ‘em other than collect ’em for quests. But that’s the fun of it, ain’t it? You’re always collectin’ somethin’ in this game, and this time, it’s these little pieces of history, or whatever they are. Makes ya feel like you’re really part of somethin’ bigger.
