Alright, so today I decided to mess around with a “barbarians deck” in my favorite mobile game. I’ve been getting my butt kicked lately, and I figured it was time to switch things up.

First, I opened up the game and went straight to my deck collection. I have a ton of cards, but I’ve been sticking to the same old strategy for way too long. Time for a change!
I started by picking the Elite Barbarians as my main win condition. Those guys are fast and hit hard, so they seemed like a good starting point. I was trying to build a new one.
Building the Deck
- Next, I added in the regular Barbarians. I figure more barbarians, more problems…for my opponent, hopefully!
- Then, I threw in a Battle Ram. It can charge up and deal some serious damage to towers. Seemed like a good fit with the whole barbarian theme.
- I added some spells to it, you know, I need protect my deck.
- I picked some support troops, because you can’t just throw a bunch of barbarians at someone and expect to win, right?
I added a Valkyrie, because she could destory the small troops.
- I needed range attack so added a Baby Dragon.
- Also I added the Bomber, it looked cool.
With my deck assembled, I hit the “Battle” button and jumped into a match. And… I lost. Badly. Turns out, just throwing a bunch of barbarians at a problem isn’t a guaranteed win.
I went back to the drawing board (aka my deck screen) and tweaked a few things. I swapped out a couple of cards, trying to find a better balance. It took a few tries, a few more losses, but I finally started to see some success.

I played a bunch more matches, experimenting with different strategies. I learned when to be aggressive, when to hold back, and when to just unleash all the barbarians I could. It was a learning process, for sure.
By the end of my gaming session, I still hadn’t mastered the barbarian deck, but I definitely made some progress. I even managed to win a few matches, which felt pretty good after that initial losing streak. I’m gonna keep practicing with this deck, though. I think it has potential, and it’s a lot more fun than what I was playing before.
