Alright, so I was messing around with Baldur’s Gate 3, right? And I got tired of always having to manually move stuff to the “wares” section of my inventory. It’s a small thing, but it gets annoying after a while. So, I decided to figure out how to automatically add stuff to my wares.

First, I poked around the in-game menus. I figured there might be a setting or something, you know? But nope, nothing. Nada. Zilch. Game settings were a dead end.
Then, I thought, “Okay, maybe there’s a mod for this.” So I jumped online, and started searching. I hit up some forums, Nexus Mods, the usual spots.
I found some discussions, people asking the same question, but no real solutions at first. A lot of “yeah, that would be nice” kind of replies. I am very disappinted.
My Solution(Sort of)
I dug deeper, though. And I finally stumbled upon a workaround, not a perfect fix, but better than * is not a function button.
Here’s what I started doing:

- I picked up everything I wanted as per normal.
- When I was ready to sell, I opened my inventory.
- I selected all the many different items.
- I right-clicked on the item I wanted to add to wares.
- Then I chose ‘Add to Wares’ in the *’s it!
It’s not automatic, like I wanted, but it saved me a few clicks each time. I still hope someone smarter than me figures out a true auto-add-to-wares mod someday. But for now, this will do. It is not a hard work, but boring.
So, that’s my little adventure in inventory management. Not the most exciting thing, but hey, every little bit helps when you’re trying to save the world, right?
